Sanger, sangskriver, skuespiller Lucas Alexander udgav sin nye single “BREAKING FREE” som er en pop-rock ballade d. 12 marts 2016 – sammen med musikvideoen til singlen, hvor Lauge Felix Black og Judith Rothenborg spiller hovedrollerne.

I forbindelse med tilblivelsen og indspilningerne af både den musiske del af “Breaking Free” og optagelserne til musikvideoen, er denne interview-dokumentar om tilblivelsen lavet. I interviewet fortæller Lucas Alexander om livssyn og idéen bag hans nye musikstil, samt grundlaget for historien til tekst og video. Lauge Felix Black fortæller om sin egen personlige rejse ved at spille hovedrollen i videoen. Dansktop stjernen Annette Klingenberg gæsteoptræder som backing sangerinde på sangen i ren opera-stil, og komponisten og guitaristen Nathan Kunkel medvirker, sammen med producerne Bjarne Brems og Jan Eliasson, samt musikerne og skuespillere i studiet og på filmsettet: Jan Overgaard, Claus Bjørn Hansen, Brian Baden, Kristian Crone Riege, Janne Olsson Lundfold, Lise K.
